No, you.
I know I'm weird by 'normal' standards. But you guys are weird by mine.

How is your cat feeling?
He doesn't like taking his pill. He takes it, but it's a fight every single time. I tried hiding it in his food, but he just spits it out. I tried mashing it up and putting it on rice because he'd always try to steal Nikita's rice when we used the same trick to medicate her before she had to be put down, but he won't touch it. To get him to take it, one of us to hold him down while the other puts the pill in his mouth and then holds his mouth closed until he swallows it. And then, of course, he's pissed off for the next hour or so.
And I'm not sure if it's the pill or the drops or just his tummy being a jerk, but now he's started licking his paws like they're covered in catnip fancy feast.
Other than that, it's hard to tell how he's feeling. He's very good at acting "normal". He's a little lazier than normal, I guess.

:/ Well, I hope it starts helping. Have you mentioned the new symptom to the vet?And I'm not sure if it's the pill or the drops or just his tummy being a jerk, but now he's started licking his paws like they're covered in catnip fancy feast.

The blood work just came back today, confirming the diagnosis. I mentioned the licking to her when she called to tell me. She said "it's too be expected".
