Yes, I remember that they were playing mahjongg once a week. "My" family from the Philippines, I mean. And every few weeks or sometimes more often was Karaoke time!

When we were in Canada again this year, they invited the whole family for a barbecue and also one of my friends who also used to stay in their place while I was there and who now lives in Canada. They cooked lots of things. Later they insisted that my husband and I were taking some of the leftovers with us to our hotel. Just like my mom always does. :)

I really miss playing mahjong, I used to play it all the time with house mates, we would play for about 7 hours at a time.

OMG I lovvvvvvvvvvve karaoke!

When I was staying in Toronto w/ my cousins we sang karaoke 'til 3 am!
