I went to visit the dogs and the ex-roomie today. She got me cool belated holiday presents.
On the way back home, I was reading 'Slam' by Nick Hornby. There was a cute girl next to me reading 'About a Boy', which is also by Hornby. This was too good a conversation starter to pass, but I passed anyway.
I am not ready to date yet. It has been a long time since I've felt like forming a romantic relationship with anyone. *shrug*

I was thinking about that time that John and Evil got into a 'disagree' war on a post about someone's friend dying. It was such poor etiquette, but still kinda funny. This was before the influx of users, back when there were less than 10 active users. Heh.
Think I'm gonna go to the Strand tomorrow or Thursday. I have not felt like reading much lately but I should stock up for when I do feel like it again.

ALso, I know you wrote this post just so you could say that in the title.
I also wrote this post because I'm feeling pretty depressed right now over something I think I have to do. I have a friend who relies on me for a lot of emotional support, and his endless despair is becoming too much for me to deal with. He's just a black hole and I'm starting to get sucked in. I don't mind being there for people who have it tough, but it is clear to me that he just wants to be miserable. So now I am bummed because I know what I need to do, but don't think I can due to the fact that we see each other every week at sports. no image
