I hate when I am right about something and I am ridiculed as being stupid. Then, after everyone leaves I look up the information to double-check myself and find out that I am correct and everyone else is an ass. Even though they make sure to make me feel like I am stupid for thinking that way.
I can't bring it up when I see them next without looking like a real tool. I did that once and (I don't remember who) someone flipped out and said that that was a real bitch move on my part.
I shouldn't second guess myself so much. Especially when it comes to history.

you shouldn't hang with people who proclaim the things you do as "bitch moves"

This is why you should look up things immediately.

This also gets you called a bitch simply because you know you're correct. I do this when it pertains to things we are teaching children. I'm sorry but if you're going to teach a child something, then it needs to be correct. This is also why everyone at work thinks "I always have to be right." I want to say, "Actually it's just that I've BEEN right every time we look things up." Today it was about measuring, and before I got my kindy class back they told the kids they were 120 millimeters tall. No one believed me when I told them it should be in centimeters to where I had to show them what 120mm actually looked like.

Right. As a person (and teacher) I don't want inaccurate information in my head which is the only reason why I look thing up. I have looked up things before and saw that I was wrong and then I was able to correct the information in my head. I never want to stop learning and I want to make sure that the information I DO have is accurate.

Meh, we were watching the fireworks. I didn't have the energy to argue nor look it up. She was just being bitchy because her bf (M) tends to flirt with me.

Most people expect me to be right. My sister is the only one who regularly doubts what I say despite the fact that she is wrong around 99% of the time when we disagree. I am accustomed to presenting instantaneous proof and it never causes problems when I do.

So you still think of yourself as a teacher?I never want to stop learning and I want to make sure that the information I DO have is accurate.

Of course I am a teacher. What do you think I have been doing with L for the past year?

It is. I am supposed to TEACH her how to become more independent and to use critical thinking skills/how to think on her own.

I was not aware of the teaching aspect of it.
