My mother will be walking through a high crime area with a lot of cash some time this week. The money is for cataract surgery that she is planning to get next month. Prior to that, she has to get some eye exams, and she decided that it would be convenient to pay on the same day as the exam. She is paying in cash because she was offered a 10% discount if she pays that way. It's for some extra feature that is not covered by insurance. I don't understand enough technical Chinese terminology to know exactly what this extra procedure is.
Although I have done bodyguard duty before, it will be different this time for two reasons. The first is that she did not inform me until today. The second is that this will be in the morning, my most difficult time. I had very little advanced notice and will need to start adjusting my circadian rhythm. I will also need to reschedule a lot of things. I will be bringing a lot of weapons and doing extra training just in case.

Speaking about circadian rhythms, mine's off. I wake up at berserk times. Fall asleep by 11:30 pm , wake up at 2:00 am. Sleep at unrecorded amounts and do it several times during the day. I was like that in India too.
Your weapon of preference? Mine would be a foghorn. Dunno if it would work but I find it funny and cruel at the same time.

My preferred weapon is a Tai Chi sword, but I can't conceal that. My favorite concealed weapon is a manriki gusari. A foghorn would probably work well on anyone who isn't deaf, and it would still draw attention even if the attacker is deaf.

Nocturnal awake patterns are a highly desirable lifestyle I want to try out before I become a slave to the day awake patterns. My preferred weapon is a Tai Chi sword, but I can't conceal that. My favorite concealed weapon is a manriki gusari. A foghorn would probably work well on anyone who isn't deaf, and it would still draw attention even if the attacker is deaf.
Manriki gusari is a sexy weapon.

The nocturnal pattern is only good if you can schedule around it. Mondays are always horrible for me because I have to get up early. Sundays will also be horrible starting 9/19.Manriki gusari is a sexy weapon.
