June 8,2011- World IPv6 Day
Wed Jan 12, 2011 6:04:50 pm
On June 8, 2011, there is a possibility that you may lose access to significant parts of the internet for 24 hours. That will be World IPv6 Day, which will involve a widescale experiment to temporarily change how the internet operates. If things go well, you won't notice anything, but there is a reasonable probability that something will go wrong, because this is something that has never been attempted before on such a large scale.
You can determine if your computer/router/internet service will operate with IPv6 here: http://test-ipv6.com/
This is my result:

Internet addicts should make preparations for this event.

I got the same result. At first it told me that NoScript or something else might be blocking, and so I temporarily allowed all on that page, but no joy.

How is that supposed to be fixed?
I am not going to be using this internet in June, but I have to tell the parents.

Fixing depends on the source of the problem. It could be the internet service, modem, router, or software. How is that supposed to be fixed?
