Another Monday
Mon Feb 7, 2011 2:23:28 pm
I have two clients with emergencies. I only agreed to service one of them. I haven't called back the other one yet. It depends on my energy and how well I can focus my mind. This client behaved strangely the last time she called me. She had left a voicemail message and acted like it was weird for me to call her when I returned the call. She initially had no idea what I was talking about and then abruptly acknowledged that there had been a computer problem but she said it resolved itself. That was a week ago. She called again yesterday reporting the same problem and says it's very urgent. Prior to this, there was another incident in which she told me her problem resolved itself and she spent half an hour repeatedly telling me that I should answer my phone when she calls.

I am amused by how there are more breakups on Mondays than on other day.

These breakups make sense. I mean, spring break? You know something went wrong there...or someone is hoping something is gonna go wrong there. And really, who likes mondays? Stupid mondays.
I always just stay at home for spring break and I have no idea what kind of psychodynamics are involved in a normal spring break.

Well, I have never experienced a spring break like THAT but generally it's the attitude of Vegas--what happens on spring break stays on spring break.

There is a gradual rise until spring break. It's not a sudden sharp rise, which means spring break isn't the cause, although there is a sudden drop in breakups soon after. This might really be the result of mating season and spring break just helps to solidify the situation by creating new relationships.

That client sounds like one to loose if you can afford to. The graphic is pretty hilarious. It's strange that there are two separate peaks in the breakup year, and that they are not equally distributed with respect to time. The peaks seem to be situated near the winter solstice and the spring equinox. Oh, and mating season is year-round for those of us who mate, Erdos.

Sounds like she just wants to talk...

I called once and she didn't answer. I haven't tried calling again.

Maybe she has Alzheimer's.

Maybe she has Alzheimer's.
That is my primary suspicion.

What is your secondary suspicion?
