Brain Brain

Duran Duran had a concert last night that was streamed live on youtube. I checked twice to see if they were performing "Hungry Like a Wolf", which is their only song that I like. I had better uses for my bandwidth than to listen to the rest of their stuff.
Duran Duran always reminds me of an incident from my childhood. There was a television show called Solid Gold, which my sister liked to watch. The show involved playing the top ten songs of the week while professional dancers performed on stage. Andy Gibb was one of the hosts of the show, and he had some interesting ways of pronouncing words. When he announced Duran Duran, it sounded like he said "Brain Brain". My sister also thought that was what he said. When we realized that he meant "Duran Duran", we both laughed uncontrollably for a long time.

I was hoping based on the title that this was going to be about the giant brain invasion episode from Futurama.

I have seen less than 10 episodes of Futurama and that wasn't one of them, but your comment reminds me of an episode of Doctor Who that involves brains in jars.

I liked the video for "Girls on Film" when I was a teen because it was kind of porn-y.

I was like 14 when that came out. I could get aroused by algebra. I remember a more risque edit as well . . .
Algebra would arouse me more than this video.

It's less exciting when it's from a man.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure that was the "M-TV cut." I distinctly remember nips.

Where did you see that version?

This broadcast pay-television service called "ON TV."

I never paid for television content. The only cable I ever got was free.
