Escalating Tensions
Thu Apr 7, 2011 3:50:25 pm

I have been feeling a lot of stress recently. I have been doing emergency repairs almost every day. This has severely interfered with my ability to rest properly. It is also contaminating my mind with the anxiety of my clients. I thought that I was the only one experiencing this weird energy, and I thought it was caused solely by work.

Maybe I am the only one and I'm just experiencing a distorted view of others due to this, but I am seeing this tension in other people too. John had to sign off because of a bad mood. Roja is going away for a while.

I'm not sure what is happening. I thought it might be a combination of the springtime mating/territorial combat stuff coupled with radiation from Japan and solar flares. My mind is still too messed up to properly analyze the situation.

I agree with you. I never saw John that way before. and I'm forcing myself to feel better, and I can't succeed most of the time.

It would be very interesting if radiation could have such an affect.

Radioactive iodine destroys the thyroid gland, but there can be a temporary high level release of thyroxin during that destruction. Hyperthyroidism is known to cause agitation.

omg. this is scientific info.

15 min to dinner time, and I may fall asleep any second. I'm in a weird mode.

I eat at a moderate speed, but I take very long to drink tea.

I don't like cold tea, so I'm not that slow drinking it. :)

I don't like cold tea, so I time the making of mine to ensure that it will still be hot when I drink it.

I use a 500ml measuring cup. I don't need to use the measuring feature, but it has a wider opening than most cups, which makes cleaning easier. I usually drink between 300ml and 415ml.

john takes breaks, short ones, long ones. i don't want to assume any reason for him taking one now. you know? i know i get irritated as hell sometimes and then anything, even something innocuous, could set me off.

that said, i do think tension of any kind tends to pervade.

could be spring, too, bringing the tension. i find i always feel more charged with energy during springtime.

Spring usually gives me a pleasant type of energy. I am currently experiencing the unpleasant type.

because it isn't normal to calculate 415 ml when you drink tea. it is daily life, and it is just tea.
