Well, say you wanted to make red. Use this code, exactly (I'm hoping the encoded greater-than and less-than symbols will still work with the recent changes):

<font color="#FF0000">This would be your text.</font>

For that, I used hexidecimal code for the color, so I like to keep a list of hexidecimal codes handy, for different shades of colors. If you go that route, note that the number sign must be included for it to work.

But you could also type red or blue or whatever color in place of the hexidecimal code; no number sign is required for that.
