Unusual fog
Thu Apr 28, 2011 3:58:14 am

I saw the arrival of fog today. This is a very rare event for me. I'm not sure why. I think it's because fog usually comes in the morning before I wake up. This one came at around 2:10pm and it was extremely fast. In under 5 minutes, my clear view of Brooklyn from the N train became completely obstructed. The winds that carried it felt like they were between 50 and 60 mph. I have only seen slow moving fog. I knew that this fog was not normal.

The sensation of the fog on my skin was quite unusual. It created a strange stickiness reminiscent of my only encounter with a possible chemtrail that happened in elementary school. I had watched a plane leaving a white line in the sky that slowly sank without dispersing. Around 20 minutes later, it landed right on the playground where I was standing. Many people became ill and we were forced to go inside. There was never any mention of this incident in the news.

The fog lingered into the night. When I finished work and went outside, I noticed wetness on the ground. It was a very unusual wetness. My client's car looked like it had been in a thunderstorm, but the ground around it was completely dry. I noticed water falling down and looked up. The source was a tree. I looked around and noticed other puddles that were underneath trees and nowhere else. All the trees were leaking condensation in a way that I had never seen before.

The weird drippings coupled with the exceptional darkness and the sound of foghorns created an unusually creepy feeling. I had been planning to write about this in a more descriptive style, as if writing a novel, but I was too tired. I have been feeling an unusually intense tiredness tonight. I'm not sure if it's somehow related to the fog. I realize that I failed to capture the ominousness of the fog. I may rewrite this later.

I forgot to mention that the fog was strangely confined to about two miles around the river.

I have seen a lot of fog in California. The concentrated wetness you described is odd, although fog of course can cause condensation. Still, puddles? That's intense. Also the winds. It seems to me winds tend to dissipate fog. Fog is almost always creepy. Still no fog here.

I was expecting the winds to dissipate the fog, but they only carried it.

The dripping was very eerie. It seemed as if each tree had its own tiny rain cloud.

I don't care what anyone is saying, there is something strange about the weather today.

It felt like an omen portending the end of the world.

What kind of weather did you witness?

Actually, the weather is nice and sunny here. Nothing strange with that. The weather is making me feel strange though--I feel like I would if it were about to storm any second. My head is throbbing like it only does when storm clouds come in. There is also an eerie silence outside--no birds or anything. It's just weird.

The silence is probably the result of animals being afraid of the radiation.

I think that's what is making the weather feel so strange. I'm pretty sure we're all going to start sprouting three arms pretty soon.

We're killing ourselves.

That is why researchers are already studying what it's like to have three arms.

THey think it'd be beneficial to have an extra arm? I'd imagine it getting in the way. Weird. And clothing would be weird.

The clothing would only seem weird because you are not accustomed to seeing 3 arm shirts. Some day it will look very ordinary.

Not to me it wouldn't. Generations down the line maybe.

You won't be around long once the third arms begin to emerge.

I wonder how that would happen--if it could grow an extra arm on someone already living or if it would just naturally start happening with babies being born.

I wonder if my niece or nephew will have three arms.
