Sometimes when the sun is shining into my office and making it really hot, I don't turn the lights on. Keeping the room darker makes me feel cooler.
My desk is a disaster area. But it could be worse. I have to hunt down the labelmaker. Whoever decided my office was not the place to store it was wrong.

I rarely turn on lights until an hour before sunset. I can operate in moonlight or in bright light, but the muddled light of the setting sun is somehow difficult for me.

the florescent lighting in my office is so bright that i have to twist the lightbulbs to turn some of them off and make it darker.

I dislike regular artificial lights, but I like full spectrum ones.
