An Apocalyptic Dream May 21, 2011
Sat May 21, 2011 4:00:35 pm

I walked alone on loose sandy earth. I saw mountains in the distance and realized that I was not in New York. I was somewhere in Africa, the true birthplace of Jesus. I would ordinarily be in bed at 4AM, but Jesus was coming and I wanted to see. Sunrise was also abnormally early, but that wasn't too surprising, considering the circumstances.

I had somehow failed to notice the hundreds of thousands of worshippers who were also outside waiting for Jesus. I wasn't a worhsipper. I was just curious. Chef Gordon Ramsay began to lead a ceremony. He knelt on the ground and bowed toward the Sun. While remaining on his knees, he turned 180 degrees and bowed again. He then used his hands to assist in one final 90 degree counterclockwise turn, which was followed by a prostration.

He rested his face in the sand for a few minutes and got up to repeat the ceremony. This time, the huge crowd mimicked his actions. He started chanting "sa mendente divino" with each bow. The crowd did the same. The sound became louder each time and I could feel the energy reverberate inside my bones. The earth started shaking intensely and that caused me to awaken.

This is very interesting erdos. Although I do have a hard time imagining Gordon Ramsay doing anything but yelling at kitchen people.

Interesting dream. Any ideas on what it means to you?

I see it as a randomized version of thoughts that have been in my mind recently. There has been a lot of discussion about The Rapture. I have also been thinking about food.

In regard to the chant. I don't know Latin, but I know that most movies on such matters use Latin phrases. I invented one to approximately represent "that is the divine mind".

I had a dream about the end of the world either yesterday or the day before. Well, the end of humans as zombies came and we all died. This is only the second time I have ever had a zombie dream.

I'm sad, I don't ever remember my dreams.

I don't like zombie dreams. They're exhausting.

You can try making the intention to remember your dreams before you go to bed. Immediately when you wake up, and I do mean immediately, take note of what you're thinking of. In the beginning you'll only have a few seconds to remember, but if you keep at it the amount of time you have access to your dreams will lengthen. The connection will become especially strong and stable if you start writing down your dreams. I've been able to recall dreams that occurred before my last one by doing this.

There was a period of a few months when I was remembering my dreams because as soon as I woke up I would grab my phone and text the dream to my ex. Mostly because they were related to whatever it was that we were discussing right before I went to sleep. I guess he was my own personal dream journal.

I'll try what you said.

Discussion about the Rapture here, or elsewhere?

Anywhere is fine. There is no obligation to stay on one topic.

No I was asking if there was discussion here on this site about the Rapture lately or did you mean in general, elsewhere.

Interesting! Guess I don't visit enough to know about that. You got any links to discussions here about it? I'm curious what people are saying.
