Dealbreaker
Tue Jun 28, 2011 5:53:44 pm

An attractive woman contacted me on OKC two days ago. We exchanged a few messages and discovered that we had both read The Second Brain. I mentioned my hypothesis regarding how the second brain may be a natural consequence of evolution. This was her reply:
That's very interesting....but I don't believe in the theory of evolution.

I lost all interest immediately.

I mean, it seems pretty obvious to me that we all evolved from Jesus. Duh.

I don't believe in evolution much either. You mean to tell me that we've evolved and there once were dumber people before us? I use George Bush to make my case.

I don't believe in the evolution theory of humans from apes or other primate-type creatures. And whenever I find out that the guy I'm dating does (because he always does) I have to part ways.

What if the person says, "I really don't know" or "I haven't put much thought into it". Still a deal breaker?

And don't assume that all people who put pics with dinosaurs in their profile actually believe that they have really existed. They may just think that they are awesome fantasy creatures.

I don't believe in the theory of evolution either. It's not a religion. Neither are dinosaurs (well, to MOST people...).
