A retired clinical psychologist once told me that I should masturbate while thinking about becoming a doctor. I visited him once every two weeks to give him computer lessons, but he often interrupted the lessons with random conversation unrelated to the lesson. This often lead to discussions about medicine and that lead to discussions about how I had wanted to become a doctor when I was younger. I subsequently changed my mind due to various obstacles. His belief was that I could overcome all obstacles if I had sufficient motivation. His recommendation was based on the hypothesis that sufficient repeatedly pleasurable association with thoughts about becoming a doctor would provide the necessary motivation.

No, but I thought "working out" might help.So far all it has provided for me are continually exhausted saute arms and knifes constantly digging themselves into cutting boards.
Though I have to say , it is fairly ridiculous as to how fast hand/finger muscles repair themselves.

Well, I'd run but I'm fairly sure I messed up something in my left foot, so I am trying to allow that to repair.Anyways, lets are in good shape from riding a 48/16 fixed gear to work throughout the summer.

It's somewhat bizarre for a psychologist to recommend masturbation, especially when it's not a treatment for a sexual disorder.
