I burped backwards
Sat Aug 27, 2011 6:04:37 pm

When I was at Whole Foods Market last night, I received a free carton(bottle?) of O.N.E. Active Coconut Water. I drank it today while swallowing some nutritional supplements. To get the capsules to go down smoothly, I need sufficient quantities of fluid in my mouth. The carton was nearly empty and the last part did not come out easily due to atmospheric pressure, so I squeezed it. This forced a gush of air to go down my throat along with the coconut water and vitamin D capsule that was in my mouth.

The bottle cap on the carton gives me difficulties in nomenclature.

Did it hurt? Did you have to expell the air afterwards?

It did not hurt, but it was uncomfortable. I had to force it back out to feel better.

Maybe I should call that a "carton cap". This disturbs me.

Oh. Swallowing an air bubble like that hurts so much. I have chest pain for twenty minutes afterward.

It is decent. I prefer the lemon lime flavor, but the free one was grape berry.

I don't think I'd like grape berry. The whole flavored coconut water idea seems strange to me. I think I'll have to try it. You feel it is beneficial, healthwise?

Flavors were added to the coconut water.

I do not regularly use it as a nutritional supplement. It is a decent source of potassium, but there are plenty of other ways to get that.

A carton/bottle is more convenient, except when I have to talk about it.

Also more cost effect? I think I saw the cartons for $1.

I haven't checked the prices of coconuts in New York.
