I wrote about this when I was in the 2nd grade

The New York Times has an article about electronic devices that operate without batteries. They get their energy from ambient radio waves. It was a concept that I thought of when I learned how radios worked, and I wrote about it, because I was taking a reading/writing test. I was required to write about anything and that was what interested me at the time.

Swallowing Air

It's a problem that I had a long time ago. I'm not sure when it went away or how, but it's back. When I eat, drink, or chew gum, I keep noticing extra air that is in my mouth and I'm obsessed with trying to avoid swallowing it. I'm not sure why I am so averse to swallowing air. It's easy to fix with a burp or fart if I swallow it, but something in me has a strong aversion to it. I'm not sure if it's a sign of digestive or psychological problems.

Cold Sweat
Mon Jul 26, 2010 12:46:22 pm

My mattress had sufficient retained heat to make me sweat despite the chilly air blowing over me. I was simultaneously hot and cold throughout the night. I think that was a major influence in my dreams. The two that I recall both involved a high level of danger.

The first dream involved being a spy. I was investigating a criminal network. We knew they were smuggling something, but we did not know what. When I arrived at the scene, I recognized a man who was there. He was a former co-worker of mine in real life. He recognized me and nodded silently, as if he did not want anyone to know that we were acquainted. When he reached the checkpoint, he suddenly sprinted, but he was detained by guards. Someone asked "who owns this slave?" I said I did and they let him go with me. Prior to that incident, I did not know that this was a slavery operation. We casually walked away until we found a hiding place and hid for a long time. The situation was very dangerous, because I did not actually have documentation indicating that I was a slave owner. We were fortunate that those documents had not been requested.

The second dream also involved a checkpoint with guards. This one was a border crossing. I'm not sure which country I was trying to enter. I had a packet of salt in my pocket that contained an image of a political leader from the country that I was leaving. The guard was deeply offended by this and demanded that I destroy it. He would not even confiscate it directly. I had to do the destruction because he did not want to touch it. I was ordered to separate the fragments in multiple garbage cans.

I am being watched

I received a message on OKC about the Firefox personas that I designed. I thought it was odd, because I did not recall mentioning them on OKC. I reviewed all my posts and verified that I really had not mentioned them on there. The only public mention that I ever made about them was on blogstalk and it was done with my udosero profile.

The sender of that message looked familiar, but I could not recall why. I just discovered that this person has at least two active profiles on OKC. The older profile previously had a New York location, but that has been changed to London. The new profile indicates Brisbane, Australia. I had previously saved the older profile but I forgot to record a note for the reason.

This is the best piece of computer item made by glorious country. May be used in any use of need to be found. Put in computer to make more disk space for games. Put in printer to make more Magenta printing. Attach to iPhone bluetooth to make the Spock. Has many uses in modern business and home for all needs. Item may not resemble description, details, or image upon arrival. Be assured that item is still of high quality and performance.

Could be thrombosis

The vein in the heel of my left palm is visibly elevated about an eighth of an inch and I feel a tickling sensation as the blood moves through it. It has been this way for the past three hours. Shaking my arm for several minutes has not caused any change in the condition. I don't feel any pain at the moment, but I am still somewhat concerned about this.

My mother had a much more severe version of this when she was pregnant. It happened in her leg and caused excruciating pain. I often wonder if this is somehow related to how messed up I am. My grandmother experienced this condition very often, at least once a week. She called it "twisting veins". It was always painful when it happened to her. She remained as still as possible until it passed, because she believed that sudden movement while it was happening could cause the vein to rip open. I have not found any Western medical condition with symptoms like this, and I'm wondering if it's a genetic disorder.
