I know you all don't care but I am going to write this here anyway.

Yesterday and today was an amazing day in the realm of exercise.

Yesterday I did some of the dance DVD and then walked/ran two miles down by the river. Today I did the calorie blaster and upper body toning of the DVD. I meant to go back to the river, but my day was occupied by an unexpected lunch with some people I met today.

I feel great. Now I just need to stay motivated.

I thought you were going to avoid running.

I did for the most part. It was like a quarter of a mile. I walked the rest. I just jogged through the area with heavy shrubbery since it was dark.

Was your asthma affected?

Also, dance workout + walk/running is a lot for one day. I'm impressed.

It felt exhilarating. Then I couldn't breath properly for the next half mile and was fine the last quarter.

Good thing no one was trying to assault me. I would be on the ground wheezing.

Why does darkness merit running?

Yeah, my leg muscles are feeling it today. I'm trying not to over-do it..but I always was an "all or nothing" type, even in things like this.

Because it was dark and there was no one on the trail and I have been warned repetitively that people get mugged and assaulted there at night.

I thought you disregarded those warnings.

Well, clearly I did otherwise I wouldn't have been there at night.

I am safe, however, and try to avoid the more dangerous areas. I'm not completely stupid.

What dance DVD? I want to learn a choreographed dance and break it out randomly this year.

I am learning it's more aerobics than dance...you're supposed to just add sexy dance moves in there or something?

It's one of those 10 minute solutions: dance it off and tone it up. I usually do 2 of the sessions, one dance and one toning. Despite it only being 10 minutes, it's a pretty intense 10 minute workout.
