As I said you would have had to been of that generation. But I have heard it occasionally. I will google it after I"ve finished here.

The water cremation is environmentally superior to traditional cremation which creates pollution.

True. But victims with existing health/medical problems are mainly the ones dying. Four have died here, two last week.

Although she could be prosecuted for not reporting the deaths, that is fundamentally different from being prosecuted for murder. I assume that there is some evidence that she is a murderer, but you have not presented any.
You appear sympathetic to Minnie Dean, and you may not be the only one. I googled the story and came up with this link, far more detailed than the info I had. http:/wikipedia.org/wiki/Minnie_Dean

Was she a victim of circumstantial evidence and not represented propely at her trial? Who Knows? Some say Billy the Kid wasn't as bad as he was painted too!

Not really, these are just the stories I have been recycling from one site to another. Now the Bain mass murders are back in the news because Bain, who I still believe is guilty, wants compensation for the time he spent in prison. Being found not guilty is not the same thing as being found innocent; and that is something that PM John Key and his cabinet committee will have to determine.

Minnie Dean is a case from our early NZ history. Some stories are fascinating. Some amaze me because they thought they could get away with it. David Bain is a pathetic piece of humanity. The whole Bain family was dysfunctional, and spent a few years in Papua New Guinea involved in their church.

re: comment#7
The garden could just be her disposal system for babies that died naturally. The train situation was not entirely clear the way you described it. The baby could have been given to someone else, which would be entirely expected if she was running a baby farm.
No, I don't think so. But if she buried babies who had died because of other reasons, she would have been prosecuted for not reporting them, even in 19th century New Zealand.

I was baptized, but my parents never told me anything about religion and they never took me to church.
The jury didn't believe that; she was found guilty on the evidence put forward. She was under suspicion by the police for some weeks. I believe she was guilty.

It's a long post. I already read it once and did not see any evidence.
Two babies bodies found in the Deans garden. The train guard saw Minnie Dean come with a baby and leave without it. The baby didn't get up and walk away did it?.

I was brought up as a christian, don't go to church regularly, but like to think I Live by basic Christian principles though.

re: comment#1
What evidence is there that she killed the babies? The way you present this story, it seems to me like she was just running a baby farm. A small percentage of babies die naturally all the time. If you have hundreds of babies, a few will definitely die.
Please read the story again, and the evidence - it executed her!
