Wow. Are we sisters? Because I'm pretty sure we have the same mother.

Forgiveness is earned. It does not sound like she has earned it, or has made a sincere effort at it. It's more than just words.

At the very least, you need to work at keeping her at arm's length unless she proves herself in a significant way. You don't want her to be a bad influence on the good family you've built for yourself. Just approach it with the philosophy of knowing that if she were not your mother it would be someone you wouldn't tolerate at all. Don't depend on her for anything, emotionally or otherwise.

i have never been one for sympathy, it makes me feel uncomfortable and while i appreciate it, it is not what i seek. my mother is/was... what ever, one who plays the woe is me card to everyone with an ear, she thrives on people feeling sorry for her. i tell things how the are/were and if people feel bad for me then that is okay, but it is not what is seek, i guess in my heart of hearts, i just want her to admit what she has done, tell me it wasnt my fault and that she is sorry for what she has or has not done. but knowing that it will probably never happen, for now a simple return phone call would work

In case you were wondering, toilet toy battleships have already been marketed as a gag gift. Let's see you try to sink one of those suckers in a sink, dough.

Meh. The age old practice of lying, in a brand new digital age.

If any of us ever runs for political office we'd probably need them to drown blogstalk.
One more reason I'll never run for office, at least not within the current national or political paradigms.

Nucs, do you seriously think this is mostly an American problem?

Co'mon, now.

I only see 5.
It is typically said that the trick to finding the other two is in perceiving that the middle trio of faces, and the external two, can alternately appear to be in back or in front of the other.

This image was in one of my psychology textbooks. When I first encountered it, I was able to see too different reversible images. I can only see one now and I can't remember what the other image was supposed to be. I think that means my perversion has become irreversible.
Yeah, sorry, once you become "an adult" you can't see the dolphins anymore.

Someone should tell those two chicks in that bottle that they've got dolphins all over them. Dolphins are rapists, and if they see those two getting it on like that, they'll get all kinds of horny.
TWO CHICKS?

What are you even talking about? clearly that's a male in the front, with extra plumbing tucked in and chest enhanced by grasps.

And why are you trying to make *sniffle* me cry about dolphins. Shut your face. They are beuaytiful.

Do not like.

Actually that goes for their entire discography, not just this one.

I like most of their discography, yet I still find something about them rather annoying. Their music is inspired, but I it's difficult for me to believe that their accolades are as great as it seems. The links to internation, annual albums charts didn't yield corroboration in any case. Isn't that weird? And WTF is Hot Dance!?

I wasn't questioning the direction of this post, rather I was remarking on the responses I tend to elicit from others. I like the meme, and don't think it stupid.
They do describes me, itz true.
