It will get better! Change always freaks me out. When I was younger, I would move around like that all the time (with my exhb). Now, if my regular schedule gets off a little, I get anxious.
I know you don't want to live with his parents for another year, so you'll figure it out. Thankfully, you have that support.

Wow. I am not smart.
When I looked at this I thought it was two Loch Ness Monsters kissing each other, which was amazing. Then my eyes slowly adjusted to the fact that there were branches floating in the air, and it took my brain another good minute to figure that one out.
I still didn't realize it was a doorway until I read the comments.

Hard.
When we were living in our apartment with hardwood floors I used my yoga mat to stretch in the morning. Joey used it to sleep on when I would pass out on our tiny couch (our 1st one fit both of us), because he didn't want me to be alone.
Now we have carpet so... it's just sitting out in the garage.

No judgement. We all find peace in different things.
I used to watch the amazing race and survivor until a few years ago. I just got burnt out on the shows.
I've watched Survivor since it first started, but I only started watching The Amazing Race and Big Brother four or five? years ago. Pretty much everyone on Big Brother is obnoxious, but I don't get burnt out since it's only on once a year unlike Survivor and The Amazing Race. The one thing I hate about The Amazing Race is all the couples that are clearly wrong for each other (e.g., this year's winners). Usually it's a team where the guy has a horrible temper (although sometimes it's the girl) and they just keep acting like jackasses and then talking about how close they've become and how much they have improved during each interview (and then in the next episode they are back to being dicks).
I used to watch the amazing race and survivor until a few years ago. I just got burnt out on the shows.
I like Survivor the best, since it's really the best combination of physical challenge and social game.
