since original writing eludes me and i have nothing to say, i'm thinking of re-posting old okcupid stuff here. i think most people haven't seen a lot of it anyway.

it's warm and sunny here. that's nice.

big diva wakes up. she grabs me and hugs me.

big diva: mom, when you die, can i have half your ashes?

me: uh, sure, of course.

big diva: little diva can have the other half.


i'm glad to know she's planning ahead. :|

last night, i noticed a bird's next on top of the light fixture on my back porch.



workmen were here this morning to fix that light and to start prepping the porches to be painted. hopefully, soon, my back porch will look somewhat nicer than that. the man fixing the light removed the nest temporarily and this was what was inside:



i was worried whether the birds would come back to the nest after he put it back. one of my girls said she saw a bird fly away from the nest later in the morning when she opened the door to go outside. so hopefully all is well.
