Today I saw an American Airlines ad campaign poster informing people of a contest where you can win a free trip to New York. I am still trying to figure out why they would choose to advertise that on NYC Metro Transit Authority bus stops.

Today I had breakfast in a place that had a sign out front advertising their imported yogurt. They didn't specify where it was imported from or anything else about it, just that it was imported. Is that a thing?

Lately I have not been saying the things I need to say to some friends. Things like "Give up already, you'll never succeed at what you're trying", "If you expect your life to be miserable, don't complain to me when it turns out that way", "You are better than what you are doing right now, get your act together" and "How in the hell are you so smart and so useless all at the same time?"

I used to have no trouble finding the right words to say harsh things with. Is a hesitation to speak a sign of maturity or something? Am I maturing?

But enough about that. Today is a happy day. A day of birthday pork chops, outgoing invoices being paid and Hannah Montana gag gifts.

REJOICE.
