While reading Wikipedia's article about the amygdala, I noticed that the accompanying image looked like a grotesque humanoid face.



I thought that this would make a good head for a superheroine named Amy G. Dala whose superpower is the ability to control people's emotions. By adding this "head" to Powergirl's body, I created this:



Upon closer inspection, I noticed a catlike figure which I darkened to make more visible.


This figure appears to be a hybrid of a cat and a mermaid. I decided to make a mercat amulet for her belt which she can use to transform into her mercat form. Her hideous form can cause anger, hatred, and jealousy. Her mercat form can cause happiness and love.
